TSA Offers $5K Signing Bonus At North Shore Hiring Event

SALEM, MA — The Transportation Security Administration is holding a hiring event in Salem with signing bonuses of up to $5,000 to work as a transportation security officer at Logan Airport.

The hiring event will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MassHire North Shore Career Center on Washington Street.

The TSA said it has full-time and part-time jobs available starting at $25.55 per hour with new employees eligible for up to a $5,000 signing bonus.

Thursday's event is designed to "begin the hiring process" for the open positions.

The bonus is $2,500 upon onboarding as a new hire and an additional $2,500 after one full year of service. The bonus applies to those hired between June 5 and Sept. 30.

Staff will be on-site to answer questions and help with the application process. Resumes and previous experience are not required.

To work for the TSA, employees must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen or national and have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent security experience.
