Synthetic Turf Arrives at Bertram Field
Rolls of synthetic turf have arrived at Bertram Field in Salem.
Salem High School's Athletic Director was pleased to report Wednesday afternoon that a project aimed at renovating the track and installing synthetic turf at Bertram Field is right on schedule.
Scott Connolly said the track has been paved, a layer of gravel has been spread across where the athletic field will be and workers are preparing to lay turf in the coming days.
