Turner's Seafood Looking to Open in Salem

The Salem Licensing Board will consider the transfer of an all-alcoholic beverage license from 43 Church to Turner's Seafood at their meeting Tuesday night.

It looks like Turner's Seafood has plans to open up on Church Street in Salem.

At their meeting Tursday night, the Salem Licensing Board is slated to weigh in on the transfer of the all-alcoholic beverage license held by the former 43 Church Restaurant to Turners Seafood, according to the posted agenda.

The Licensing Board meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the City Hall Annex on Washington Street.

A message recently posted in the front window of 43 Church Restaurant reads:

"To All of Our Loyal Customers: 43 Church has now ceased all restaurant operations and will remain closed. We thank you sincerely for all of your generous support over the years. We enjoyed serving each and every one of you, and we will miss you all."
