U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton To Host Public Town Hall On Saturday

The event is open to the public at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium.

SALEM, MA — Residents in the 6th Congressional District of Massachusetts on the North Shore and Merrimack Valley are invited to U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton's public Town Hall in Lynn on Saturday.

The event is set for noon at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium.

"I always say that one of the most important parts of this job is showing up and listening," Moulton said. "These town halls are your opportunity to ask questions directly, share what's on your mind, and tell me what you're seeing in your community.

"Whether it's concerns about the President’s disastrous actions, the economy, public safety, veterans' services, or issues affecting your family, I want to hear from you."

Moulton's office said the town hall will focus on the Congressman's current work in the House of Representatives and will not include questions or comments about the upcoming election. Moulton has launched a primary challenge to U.S. Sen. Ed Markey for the Democratic nomination this fall.

The town hall comes days after Moulton's invited guest at the State of the Union address, Milford High student Marcelo Gomes da Silva — who was detained by ICE on his way to a volleyball practice last spring when it was discovered that his student visa had expired — was removed from the House chambers after a Department of Homeland Security social media post that Moulton's office said targeted and harassed the 18-year-old.
