A Very Grinchy Christmas at Gallows Hill Theatre

The Grinch has been running around town, before he shows up on stage for a remake of the Dr. Seuss holiday classic.

He’s rotten, smelly and downright mean. His face is hairy, his teeth yellow and his skin green. But his holiday tale is leaping off the page. Soon, so soon, it will be on stage.

The Grinch has been prowling around town, picking on poor Salem before his debut at Gallows Hill Theatre’s twist on the Dr. Seuss classic this weekend.

The theatre’s performance of A Very Grinchy Christmas opens on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. Additional showings will be performed on Sunday, Dec. 12, and the following weekend Dec. 20 and 21.

In a blog set up at creativesalem.com, The Grinch has posted pictures and videos of himself meeting (and terrorizing) people in Salem, including a stop at Red’s Sandwich Shop.

“I just want a bad cuppa coffee and an old crumbly muffin,” he said. “Is That TOO MUCH to ask?”
