VIDEO: SPD Welcomes Four New Police Officers
The Salem Police Department welcomed four patrolmen at a swearing in ceremony prior to Thursday's City Council Meeting
The mayor, City councilors, members, family and friends gathered Thursday to welcome four new officers to the City's law enforcement family.
Tracey O'Leary, Radames Gonzalez, William Olivieri and Daniel Tucker were sworn in as patrolmen prior to Thursday's City Council meeting.
"I'm very grateful to Mayor Driscoll for her support over these past 17 months since I became chief," Police Chief Paul Tucker said. "We've worked very hard to maintain a strong public safety presence during difficult economic times. These appointments are further example of her support."
