Well-Being Check at Bewitched Statue, Small Mulch Fire on Traders Way: Salem Police Logs

SALEM, MA — The following are excerpts from the Salem Police Logs from Aug. 30 and 31. The information below does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 30

1:46 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Mason and Flint Streets for a verbal domestic argument. A vehicle operator will be summonsed for operating a vehicle after a license suspension.

4:23 p.m.: Police responded to Traders Way by the Bank of America ATM for a small mulch fire. The officer was able to keep the fire under control until the fire department arrived. There was no damage to any buildings.

8:46 p.m.: Police conducted a well-being check of several individuals in Town House Square by the Bewitched statue. Both parties checked on were fine.

Arrests

Aug. 30, 8:20 p.m.: Police arrested Rudy A. Reyes, 23, of Leavitt Street in Salem on a warrant arrest.

Aug. 31, 1:10 a.m.: Police arrested John J. Frongillo, 62, of Hancock Street on a warrant arrest.
