Election Guide: Where to Vote, Hours, Who is on the Ballot in Salem

Mayor Kim Driscoll is running unopposed in Tuesday's municipal election, but there are contested races further down the ballot.

Polls are open in Salem on Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the municipal election.

Mayor Kim Driscoll is running unopposed, but there are several contested races on the ballot, including a write-in campaign for the Ward 7 City Council site that was held by the late Joseph O’Keefe.

There are eight candidates for four City Council-at-large seats. Incumbents Thomas Furey, Arthur Sargent III, Elaine Milo, and William Legault are joined on the ballot by Jerry Ryan, Kenneth Sawicki, Tyler Carlton, and Domingo Dominguez.

There are six candidates running for three positions on the School Committee. Incumbent James Fleming is joined on the ballot by Andrea French, Joanne Kennedy, Kenneth Sawicki, Mary Manning, and Kris Wilson.

In Ward 2, incumbent Councilor Heather Famico is facing a challenge from Tim Jenkins.

In the Ward 3 Council race, Lise Hansen-Damato is squaring off against Stephen Lovely.

In Ward 6, incumbent Councilor Beth Gerard is being challenged by Pamela Lombardini.

In Ward 7, Steven Dibble and William Luster are mounting write-in campaigns to fill the seat that was held by O’Keefe, who died earlier this fall.

Ward 2, all precincts, St. John’s Church on St. Peter Street

Ward 3, all precincts, Salem High School auditorium on Willson Street

Ward 4, all precincts, Witchcraft Heights School gymnasium on Frederick Street

Ward 5, all precincts, Saltonstall School on Lafayette Street

Ward 6, precinct 1, Bates School on Liberty Hill Avenue

Ward 6, precinct 2, parks and recreation department at Mack Park

Ward 7, all precincts, Salem State Enterprise Center on Loring Avenue
