Who is Offering Free Meals for the Needy This Thanksgiving?

North Shore Community Action Programs has a list of North Shore establishments providing free Thanksgiving dinners on Nov. 26.

Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away, and unfortunately, many people on the North Shore may go hungry.

To help those in need and create a spirit of giving, a number of local organizations and restaurants in the region are offering free Thanksgiving meals to those in need on Thursday, Nov. 26

The North Shore Community Action Programs have put together a list of those who are offering free meals this Thanksgiving, as well as information for those who want to volunteer their time during the holiday.

All the meals listed are free of charge and all are welcome.

The list includes establishments in Peabody, Beverly, Salem, Lynn, Danvers, and Saugus.

The list is in both English and Spanish.

The Salem Police Department is urging the public to please pass the information on to anyone you may know who may be going without a meal on Thanksgiving.
