In the northern states, especially Massachusetts, it can be hard to hold conservative views among your liberal peers.

The new situation with the Georgian government, abortion is an issue that has been getting a bunch of attention lately. With radicals on both sides clashing head to head.

With all the affairs in Georgia and Alabama aside, I'm going to be talking about why I'm a pro-life advocate even though most of my views tend to swing blue and left.

First thing's first. If you passed fifth grade and saw the puberty videos, you know the function of the reproductive system and sexual intercourse. These body parts were evolved to create the next generation. But with humans having free thinking and the primal instincts of our brain petering out, we don't just have sex to reproduce anymore. Since animals evolved nerve endings in the genitals keep them doing the deed until the appropriate time; (when the male releases sperm), humans have evolved an affinity for sex. So much, that we don't do it for the sole reason of reproduction such as back in prehistoric ages, we do it for pure recreation.

Even though our brains have changed, the functions of our systems have not. When you make the decision to have vaginal intercourse, you are taking the gamble that you will reproduce, since this is the natural function of the system. So it seems a bit counter-intuitive that we can just cheat nature and kill our own offspring. Like if you were at a casino, and lost, you wouldn't be allowed to keep your stake, that's illegal. So why isn't what is probably the ultimate form of cheating, illegal as well? Especially when birth control is offered free by most health insurances.

Many people that are pro-life advocate that the woman should be able to do what she wants with her body. However, even though the fetus may not fully be developed, the collection of cells, or whatever you want to call it, is not the woman's body. So she should not have dominion over its mortal fate. The fetus meets the full qualifications of being human. It has 23 sets of chromosomes, makes ATP and grows and develops; just as a birthed baby does all these things. People argue that high brain activity is required to declare a life form human, but this is simply not true. since even humans that are birthed that are brain dead or have a stroke, with limited brain activity alike a fetus, are still considered human and the consequence for murdering someone who has one of these conditions would still result in a murder charge.
