Why Wasn't My Yard Waste Picked Up?

If you noticed that your yard waste bags weren't picked up this week - you're not alone.

Northside Carting, Salem's trash contractor, has been reportedly experiencing some difficulties with their yard waste trucks.

In a statement issued Friday, the company apologized for the delay and instructed city residents to continue leaving yard waste bags curbside. They will be picked up by the end of the day on Saturday.
