1 Dead In 195 Crash: State Police
A 72-year-old man from Connecticut died in the Westport crash Friday afternoon.
WESTPORT, MA — An elderly Connecticut man was killed in a Friday afternoon crash on Route 195 East, State Police said.
The 72-year-old Canaan man died after his 2017 Chevrolet pickup drove off the side of the road and hit the Highland Avenue Bridge at the Westport/Dartmouth line. He was pronounced dead at St. Luke's Hospital.
The right travel lane of Route 195 East was closed for about 2 1/2 hours.
