1 Dead In I-195 Crash

MARION, MA — A 55-year-old Mattapoisett man is dead after his car rolled over on I-195 Saturday morning. Robert Xifaras was determined to be deceased at the scene, State Police said.

Police responded to the highway in Marion around 7 a.m. for a single-vehicle rollover. They said Xifaras lost control of his 2014 Hyundai Velost while driving eastbound, veering into the median and rolling over.

The left lane was closed for about three hours while the crash was investigated.
