40 Pounds of Pot, Sawed-off Shotgun Seized in Seekonk Bust: ICYMI

Dana Johnson, 61, of Seekonk, was charged with a host of crimes: in case you missed it.

SEEKONK, MA — Seekonk police said they arrested a drug dealer this week and charged him with having over 40 pounds of marijuana, a sawed-off shotgun, and ammunition.

Dana Johnson, 61, of 200 Walker St., was charged with a host of drug and gun crimes.

Police said they launched an investigation on Wednesday after receiving a tip from Pawtucket police that Johnson had a "large quantity of marijuana" in his residence. Seekonk police obtained a warrant and raided the residence.

"The Seekonk Police Department commends and thanks Pawtucket police investigators for sharing information and working cooperatively with out agency," Seekonk Police Chief Craig Mace said in a statement.
