5 Things You Need to Know April 13: Seekonk-Swansea Baseball Action

1. The 60th Anniversary of Swansea Little League will start on Saturday, April 13, with the opening day ceremonies at 9 a.m. Players are requested to be at the field at 8:45 a.m. Exhibition games will follow after the ceremony. 

2. The Swansea Little League announces League Day at Fenway Park on Sunday, May 26. The game is at 1:35 p.m. vs. the Cleveland Indians. This will be a great opportunity to get everyone in the league together at Fenway to enjoy a game and to celebrate Swansea Little League’s 60th Anniversary.  The Red Sox have agreed to recognize the anniversary on the scoreboard during the game. Tickets are $30 each for the outfield grandstand. Players are encouraged to wear their team uniform and hat. If you have any questions please contact Chad Gonsalves at chad.gonsalves@comcast.netPlease make checks payable to SWANSEA LITTLE LEAGUE.All checks must be received by April 13 (opening day) and they will collecting them after opening day ceremonies.

3. The Case High baseball team will be traveling to Wareham to play the Vikings in a 3:30 p.m. game today.

4. The Seekonk High baseball team is at Greater New Bedford Voke today for a 3:30 p.m. game.
