5 Things You Need to Know: March 14

Seekonk Chief of Police Craig Mace's installation will be Sunday.

1. Today's weather will be a little windy and chilly and there will be more clouds than sun, according to WHDH. A few flurries are possible. It will be in the upper 30s to low 40s. 

2. The Seekonk High Drama Club will be performing the Music Man, Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, Monday, March 24. The Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for Seekonk High students with their IDs, senior citizens and children under 12, $7 and general admission is $10.

3. A reminder all dogs in Seekonk must be licensed annually with town and licenses are only good until March 31 each year. Massachusetts General Law requires that all dogs over six months of age be licensed. The Town Clerk's Office assigns the dog licenses for the Town of Seekonk. Proof of a current rabies vaccination certificate (not a rabies tag) is required to license the dog. The cost for spayed/neutered, $10, and unspayed and unneutered, $20, and there is a late fee of $20.

4. The installation of Seekonk Chief of Police Craig Mace will take place at the Johnson & Wales Inn, 213 Taunton Ave., Seekonk, Sunday, March 17, at 1 p.m.
