5 Things You Need to Know: Monday, March 11

The Swansea Public Library is looking to deliver materials to the homebound.

 

1. Snow, what snow? There will be more melting today as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 50s, according to WHDH. Rain will on the menu for Tuesday, but the temperatures will still be in the 50s.

2. The installation of Seekonk Chief of Police Craig Mace will take place at the Johnson & Wales Inn, 213 Taunton Ave., Seekonk, Sunday, March 17, at 1 p.m.

3. The Seekonk Planning Board will be meeting Tuesday in the selectmen's meeting room at 7 p.m., while finance committee will be meeting in the planning board room.

4. The Swansea Public Library is introducing a program to deliver and pick up materials to patrons in Swansea that are homebound.  If you or someone you know is interested, give them a call 508-674-9609.
