Information Session on MAKOplasty and Osteoarthritis - May 30 at Johnson & Wales Inn
Morton Hospital will host a free MAKOplasty® information session on Thursday, May 30 at 6 p.m. in the Diplomat Room of the Johnson & Wales Inn, located at 213 Taunton Ave. in Seekonk.
During the program, Barry Saperia, MD, MAKOplasty®-certified orthopedic surgeon at Morton Hospital, will discuss signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee and hip, as well as how MAKOplasty® is changing the way orthopedic surgeons are helping patients with OA restore range of motion, reduce or eliminate joint pain, and return quickly to the lives they love. Complimentary treats and refreshments will be served.
Acquired by Morton Hospital in November, MAKOplasty® robotic surgery offers several advantages to the patient, including: a smaller incision, more precise results, brief hospitalization, quicker rehabilitation and more natural motion after surgery.
