Rockland Trust today announced that Kiely Wilcox, a 2013 graduate of St. Mary’s Academy Bay View, is a recipient of the 2013 Rockland Trust Scholarship. Ms. Wilcox is one of six students who received a $2,500 scholarship in a competition administered by Rockland Trust. The bank received more than 400 applications from students in Plymouth, Barnstable and Bristol counties, as well as Cohasset, Randolph, Braintree, Quincy, Wellesley, and Watertown, and the bank’s new communities in MetroNorth. Students were selected based on academic achievement, community service, and an essay question. Ms. Wilcox will attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall.
Rockland Trust President & CEO Christopher Oddleifson and Executive Vice President Jane Lundquist presented the scholarship to Ms. Wilcox at a reception held at the bank’s corporate offices in Hanover on June 13, 2013.
