Baby Delivered on Highway in Seekonk

Rush hour took on a whole new meaning for a local couple.

Authorities said the man and woman were driving to the hospital Monday morning on I-195 in Seekonk after the woman went into labor, according to WPRI.

The vehicle stopped at a weigh station and the woman delivered her baby girl before paramedics arrived. Both mother and daughter were expected to be OK.

The couple is from the Boston area, according to the Sun Chronicle.
