There will be a new look to the Case High football season this fall.First, the Cardinals are in the Division 5, competing playoffs against Abington, Archbishop Williams, Ashland, Bellingham, Bourne, Cardinal Spellman, Dover-Sherborn, East Bridgewater, Fairhaven, Martha's Vineyard, Norwell, Old Rochester and Seekonk.
Second, there are only seven games listed on the schedule, because the playoffs will start in November.
Teams who don't make the playoffs will have more games scheduled. The playoffs are designed to produce a state champion. The state Super Bowl will be played at Gillette Stadium in the first week of December.
Third, the teams will still play their Thanksgiving Day rivals during the state playoffs. For more information, go to the Boston Herald website.
