Celebrate Ocean Spray's Fifth Annual Cranberry Harvest at Patriot Place

Fall Harvest Celebration at Patriot Place will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Celebrate the arrival of autumn in New England with Ocean Spray’s fifth annual Fall Harvest Celebration at Patriot Place on Saturday, Oct. 25. The all-day event is free, open to the public, and perfect for families looking to experience a wide variety of fall fun. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. with the Ocean Spray Cranberry Harvest at the cranberry bog behind Bass Pro Shops.

“This is our fifth year celebrating the Fall Harvest of the Ocean Spray cranberry bog and it is always a great day for families to come to Patriot Place and enjoy the wonderful natural setting we have here behind Bass Pro Shops,” said Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley. “This event truly characterizes fall in New England and it is always one of my favorite events of the year at Patriot Place.”

Dormant for years, the bog was brought back to life by Ocean Spray, which harvested it for the first time at Patriot Place in 2011. The 2014 harvest will be open for public viewing beginning at 10 a.m. and will offer families a great photo opportunity while third, fourth and fifth generation growers will detail the harvesting process and talk about the taste, health and the heritage of the cranberry.
