Computer Tech Open House at MTTI in Seekonk, MA

Thinking about training for a new career in the New Year?

MTTI, family owned and operated since 1985, is holding a Computer Tech Networking / Open House Event at its main location in Seekonk, MA. In a relaxed, friendly setting, visitors will be able to talk with instructors and alumni of MTTI’s Computer Service Technician / Network Installer program, and have individual questions answered by an Admissions Representative, Career Services Specialist and Financial Aid Administrator.

The seven month program prepares students, through a combination of classroom and hands-on training, for entry–level positions as Computer and Network Support Specialists. Students learn skills to assemble, configure, troubleshoot and manage PCs and networks. Graduates work for businesses, schools, and health care organizations, in both field support and help desk environments. Employment for Computer Support Technicians is expected to increase by 17% (faster than average) from 2012 to 2022.*

The program includes Windows 8/8.1, Apple iMac, and Android training; students in the fall 2014 classes have already been beta testing Windows 10, scheduled for release during 2015. Students prepare for the industry-standard CompTIA A+ Certification examinations and complete a training-related internship at actual computer / networking companies. The internship gives students the opportunity to earn a positive reference for future employment, and may result in an offer of employment. All students receive assistance with resume preparation, interview practice, and job search.
