Dighton Teen Shot, Killed; Another Teen Arrested
The 17-year-old victim was a student at Dighton-Rehoboth.
DIGHTON, MA — An 18-year-old has been charged in the shooting death of a 17-year-old.
Michael Pacheco was fatally shot Tuesday night in his Forest Street home, the Bristol County District Attorney's Office said.
Joseph Medeiros, of Rehoboth, was charged Wednesday morning with involuntary manslaughter, carrying an illegal firearm and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He will be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton District Court.

Pacheco was a student at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional. The school will have grief counseling Wednesday, it said in a message on Facebook Tuesday evening .
