Learn the steps and figures necessary to accomplish with great confidence, modern day contra dances and chestnut dances! "Chestnuts" is a term is sometimes used for a group of older dances, ones that have been part of the contra repertoire for a long time, somewhere between 100 and 200 years of contra dancing. In many cases, but not all, there is a tune associated with the dance: Money Musk, for example, gets played for the dance of the same name, or Chorus Jig, or Rory O'More.

It's a fun evening of dancing, laughing, and learning! We have such a good time and would love to have you join us! We're a friendly and inclusive folks!
