Ed the Wizard Brings Reading is Magic to the Library

It’s Christmas vacation week at the Swansea Public Library and Ed the Wizard is bringing his “Reading is Magic" program on Monday, December 30 at 1:00PM.   Dressed like a wizard right out of a fairy tale, with the help of many volunteers, Ed the Wizard presents a program that will  weave together the importance of building and maintaining reading skills using magic, comedy, and suspense. With reading as the emphasis behind each magical performance, Ed the Wizard encourages folks of all ages that reading is indeed the key to success.  This program is free and open to the public and made possible by the Swansea Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. This is a Swansea Public Library Family Fun Winter event.
