On April 15, Celeste Corcoran, a Boston-area hairstylist at EMERGE Spa & Salon for more than 13 years, and her daughter, Sydney, were severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombings. In response to the tragedy, Boston and New England area stylists at local salons and spas have joined together to organize the Boston Strong Celeste-a-Thon to support one of their own and raise money for Celeste’s and Sydney’s medical needs. On Monday, May 13, participating Supercuts are offering a percentage of proceeds from sales from all salon services to the Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund. For additional donations, mail a check to Enterprise Bank, Celeste & Sydney Fund, 1120 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876; or donate to the Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund online at GoFundMe.com.
