First Day of School in Swansea

We might be having a occasional rain shower or a thunderstorm today, but it will be mostly clear, according to WHDH. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid to low 80s.

It's a big day in Swansea as school is starting for grades one-12. There will be a kindergarten orientation Aug. 20 and a their first day will be Aug. 29. If you have any questions about bus route, click here.

The staff of Congressman Joe Kennedy III will hold Fall River office hours in room 318 at Fall River City Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 10:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. During this time, one of the Congressman’s caseworkers will be available to meet with constituents and discuss any concerns. The Seekonk Public Library will have a delayed opening Wednesday morning for staff training. The library will open at noon.

The Seekonk Fall Town Meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18, at Seekonk High at 7 p.m. The warrant for the meeting is open until Tuesday, Oct. 1.
