Five Things You Need to Know: April 9: Learn About Animals at Swansea Library

1. The Swansea Public Library will be presenting "All About Animals", Wednesday, April 10, from 10:30-11:15 a.m. The program is for children three and under. They will read stories and have a craft and learn about different animals.  For more information, contact Carol Gafford at 508-674-9609.

2. The Swansea Public Library Plant Sale will be Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at the library on Main Street. 3. The Seekonk Planning Board will be meeting Tuesday in the selectmen meeting room at 7 p.m.

4. The Seekonk Recreation Commission will be meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at town hall.

5. The UMass Dartmouth Career Development Center announces their 2013 Career Expo will be held on April 17, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Tripp Athletic Center.
