The Swansea Public Library announces the start of the Flowers and Showers Story Hour sessions for children ages 2 ½ to 5. Sign-ups are being held now through March 28th either by phone or email. Two sessions will be offered starting Monday March 17th, 2014, and Wednesday March 19th, both at 10:30am.   Story hours fill up fast so contact the library today to sign up.
The six week Flowers and Showers themed program ends on April 23rd. Come join the fun with the Ms. Carols and their story hour Friends as the library celebrates March and April with stories, poems and crafts in the Blue Sea and Junior rooms. In March we will celebrate National Wildlife Week, St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of Spring, and Kite Flying month. April has us in the midst of the rainy season, celebrating Earth Day, Arbor Day, welcoming the Easter Bunny and starting our Peter Rabbit garden.
The place to be is at the library on Main St in historic Swansea village. All children who attend Story Hour must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
