Hurley MS Boys' Soccer Team - 2014 Undefeated Champions

Congratulations to the Hurley Middle School Boys’ Soccer team. Last Thursday, the team defeated Bridgewater by a score of 4-0 to complete their undefeated season, finishing with the best record amongst of all of the boys’ teams in the Massasoit League of Middle Schools (12-0). This team worked hard all season under the direction of their coach, Mr. Frank Pellegrino. The boys scored 68 goals on the season, and only let up four. Everyone at Hurley Middle School is very proud of this group of student-athletes. Completing an entire season without losing one game is a tremendous accomplishment.

After the game, Coach Pellegrino told the players how proud he was of all of them, and that it was truly his pleasure to coach the team. He said, ”We had a great chemistry of players that lead to our success. The 8th graders stepped up and were the leaders I wanted them to be both on and off the field. They provided the leadership necessary to not only be successful, but to coach the 6th and 7th grade players during practices and games. Speaking of which, I am very excited for next season already, looking at how much the younger players have matured.” Coach Pellegrino went on to thank everyone for supporting the team this season.
