Large Fire In Swansea On Locust Street
Swansea firefighters fought a large brush fire on Locust Street Monday afternoon.
SWANSEA, MA — A large brush fire broke out in Swansea by Locust Street Monday afternoon, drawing firefighters from multiple surrounding communities. No injuries were immediately reported.
The fire broke out around 3 p.m. Dry weather and brisk winds of 10-15 mph helped spread the flames. The fire broke out in the area of 289 Locust St. near The Ice Cream Barn.
