Man Struck, Killed On 195 While Fleeing From Cops: Police
Police said the man evaded police and fled on foot, and was struck while crossing Route 195 in Seekonk.

SEEKONK, MA — A man allegedly ditched his vehicle and fled police on foot was fatally struck by a vehicle on Route 195 Saturday evening. State Police did not say why 29-year-old Anthony Perry of Pawtucket, R.I., was attempting to evade police.
Perry allegedly tried to evade a Seekonk Police officer who attempted to stop his vehicle. He drove behind the Motel 6 on Fall River Ave. and fled on foot, police said.
Perry ran onto Route 195 near Exit 1, making it past the right and middle lanes before being struck by a Honda Odyssey driven by a Rhode Island woman. The woman and her two passengers were uninjured.

Perry was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
