Murder Suspect Found Dead off Route 195

Paulo Rosa, 30, of Dorchester, allegedly killed his girlfriend in Dorchester on Saturday.

A Dorchester man who allegedly killed his girlfriend on Saturday morning has been found dead off Route 195 near the Rehoboth-Swansea line.

Paulo Rosa, 30, of Dorchester, was found near his car, reported CBSBoston.

“We were hoping to get to him before he took his own life, but unfortunately this is a sad conclusion,” Commissioner William Evans told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.

Boston Police responded to Bowdoin Street in Dorchester shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday about a shooting. They found an unresponsive woman in her 30s, who died at the scene, said Boston Police.

Police identified Rosa as the suspect and asked the public’s help in identifying the Dorchester man, who was driving a blue G37 Inifiniti Coupe.

Boston Police said the couple had two children under the age of 5.
