Nancy Cote Visits the Library on Saturday May 17th.

Author/Illustrator and local favorite Nancy Cote will be at the Swansea Public Library on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 11:00AM to sign her newest collaborative effort, Dixie Want’s an Allergy.

Dixie Wants an Allergy provides a comical and engaging approach for children who are beginning to learn about and who are coping with allergies and who also have trouble finding what makes them unique. Nancy’s inviting illustrations encourage children to accept those with differences while learning that wanting what others have is not always a good idea.
Nancy Cote was born in Massachusetts. She lives with her husband in Somerset, MA. They have three children, and one adorable granddaughter. She has written ??? books and has illustrated more than two dozen picture books for children. Her books have received many awards.
From her work as a children’s book illustrator to her special project commissions, Nancy’s unique style and passion have created  characters and scenes that delight both young and old, Nancy’s work is a reflection of her endless passion and energy for life. Her studio is located in an historic village along a quiet river in New England.
