Seekonk Celebrates
America Recycles Day

The Town of
Seekonk will mark America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 23, 2013. The
event will be held from 10am to 1pm in the large meeting room at the town
public library on Newman Avenue. Hosts of the event will be the members of the
Seekonk Recycling Committee, and will feature a demonstration on home
composting, a display of products made from recycled materials, examples of the
numbered items collected by our recycling vendor, and an update on the current
Massachusetts Bottle Bill initiative. There will be hands-on activities for children
who attend, as well as a free raffle!
