Seekonk Crash: Live Wires Down on Route 114A
A vehicle struck a utility pole in Seekonk Wednesday morning, sending live wires down on the road.
SEEKONK, MA — A bad crash in Seekonk on Wednesday morning downed live wires on Route 114A, police said. It was immediately unclear if anyone was hurt. The crash happened in between Cole Street and County Street; that stretch of Route 114A was closed. Traffic was being detoured via Highland Avenue.
Police reported the crash happened shortly before noon.
National Grid crews arrived at the scene to fix the wire situation.
