Seekonk Fire on Allen Avenue: Child Rescued
Seekonk firefighters responded to Allen Avenue Wednesday afternoon for a house fire.

SEEKONK, MA — A fire broke out in Seekonk on Allen Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The fire was reported in a house in the mid-100 stretch of the road.
A child was reportedly rescued from the flames. It was immediately unclear if the child was hurt.
Fire officials requested animal control to the scene. The nature of the request was immediately unclear.

The fire broke out at about 4 p.m. and was declared under control about 20 minutes later.
