Seekonk K9 Calendar Signing To Benefit Police Dogs
The department will hold a calendar signing this Saturday in Taunton.

SEEKONK, MA – The Seekonk Police Department K9 team will hold a calendar signing event to benefit law enforcement dogs nationwide. Officer Adam Laprade and K9 Kilo, who appear in the 2018 Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. fundraising calendar, will be on hand at the event. The singing will run from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Bay State Pet, 429 Winthrop St. in Taunton.
Autographed calendars will sell for $17 on-site.
This year Kilo has some local competition for the calendar's "top dog." Bristol County Sheriff's Department K9 Bob and K9 Zeus of the Cranston, RI Police Department are also featured in the calendar.

All proceeds will go to providing equipment and services for law enforcement dogs across the country. To date, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. has donated over 2,700 bullet- and stab-protective vests to K9 units in all 50 states, the Seekonk Police Department said.
