Seekonk To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Abington
The Warriors take on the Abington Green Wave in the first round of the football tournament.
SEEKONK, MA – Seekonk heads to the MIAA Football South Division 7 tournament, taking on Abington Oct. 27.
The Warriors, seeded sixth with a 4-3 record, will kick off the tournament against the third-seeded Green Wave, who also enter the tournament with a 4-3 record. Seekonk goes up against Abington Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at Abington.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
