Seekonk Police Chase: Convict Sentenced

SEEKONK, MA — A Rhode Island man who led officers on a chase through Seekonk has been sentenced to prison.

Miguel Cuevas, 26, of Pawtucket, was one of three arrested men on June 2, 2015. Police said the trio broke into a home on Arcade Avenue—terrifying the female homeowner.

Officers arrived and they fled in a black Acura, police said. They swerved across several lawns trying to avoid police, but soon crashed and were taken into custody.

Also arrested were Joseph Cocroft, 30, of Cranston, R.I., and Joseph Costa, 34, of Providence, R.I.

Cuevas was recently sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison, according to Seekonk police.
