Seekonk Police Dog Helps Nab Hit-And-Run Driver Hiding On Highway
Seekonk police said Zuzo the K-9 was able to locate the suspect after he fled the scene of a three-car crash on I-95 Thursday night.
SEEKONK, MA — There was no escaping Zuzo for a driver who attempted to leave the scene of a three-car crash on I-95 Thursday night. Seekonk police said the star of one of its two K-9 teams was able to quickly track down the driver hiding in a line of woods along the highway.
"It's never a good idea to leave the scene of an accident," Seekonk police said, "especially in a town with two K-9 teams. Nice job, K-9-2."
Seekonk police said Massachusetts State Police is investigating the crash.
