Seekonk Police: Facebook Post on Break-in Suspect 'Major' Factor in Arrest
The post about the Rhode Island suspect accused of breaking into multiple Seekonk homes reached more than 67,000 people.

Seekonk police said a Facebook post was a “major” factor in the arrest of a break-in suspect this week.
James Stanzione, 27, of East Providence, R.I., was arrested Monday and charged with breaking into four Seekonk homes.
The day before, police posted an alert that they were looking for Stanzione. The post reached more than 67,000 people, police said.

Stanzione, who had warrants out of Rhode Island, allegedly stole cash, wallets, medication, and cell phones—among other items—from residences on Cynthia Road, Luther Street, Watson Street, and Cole Street.
