Seekonk Police To Hold 'Coffee With A Cop'
The Oct. 4 event gives residents the opportunity to build relationships with officers.

SEEKONK, MA – The Seekonk Police Department will hold a "Coffee With a Cop" event on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at Country Kitchen, 469 Taunton Ave. The event gives residents an opportunity to build relationships with those who protect and serve.
"Coffee With a Cop" is an opportunity for residents and community members to become more acquainted with the men and women who patrol the area. Attendees will have the chance to voice their concerns or just chat while enjoying complimentary coffee.
The first "Coffee With a Cop" event was held in Hawthorne, CA in 2011. Since then, more than 2,000 communities in 49 states have hosted "Coffee With a Cop" gatherings.
