Seekonk Resident Awarded $1,500 Simon Youth Foundation Community Scholarship
Kendra Adams is among 26 high school seniors in New England awarded Simon Youth Foundation Scholarships this year
Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets in New England recently announced that 26 high school seniors, including Kendra Adams of Seekonk, were awarded Simon Youth Foundation Scholarships totaling more than $80,000. Adams will continue her education this fall at Stonehill College with help from Emerald Square Mall and the Simon Youth Foundation (SYF), a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk students graduate high school and to providing scholarship opportunities for college-bound students.
Kendra, along with SYF Scholarship recipients across New England, attended a celebratory reception on July 20 at Burlington Mall in Burlington, Mass.
