Seekonk's Moniz Standouts at Salem State

Freshman Cam Moniz was a standout freshman on the Salem State University men's ice hockey team.

 

In his first season with the Salem State University men's ice hockey team, Seekonk's Cam Moniz played in 24 games, scoring nine goals and gathering five assists for 14 points.

The 6-0, 195-pounder played for the Walpole Express in Eastern Junior Hockey League before going to Salem State.

Moniz attended LaSalle Academy and Hebron Academy where he was third team all-state as a junior. He is majoring in athletic training. 

Salem State finished with a 14-12-1 overall record and was 10-7-1 in the MASCAC, finishing third. Plymouth State was the top team, followed by UMass-Dartmouth.
