Seekonk's Spencer Runs Stonehill College to Relay Title
Sam Spencer, who ran at Seekonk High, is a senior middle distance runner at Stonehill College.

Seekonk's Sam Spencer ran the anchor leg as the Stonehill College men's indoor track team's 4000-meter distance medley team defended its title at the Northeast-10 Indoor Track Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Feb. 16.
A senior history major, Spencer clocked a time of 4:20 for the 1600 meters.

Spencer was also fifth in the 800 meters in 1:57.14 for the Skyhawks.
Stonehill scored 162 point to second place UMass-Lowell's 159.50. It was the first indoor title for the Skyhawks.

Spencer finished the indoor season with a 26th place finish in the mile at New England Championships in a time of 4:16.64. Stonehill was 10th as a team.
