Seekonk Town Meeting Approves Planning For South End Fire Station
The Town Meeting this week approved $100,000 for feasibility studies for two projects.
SEEKONK, MA – The Seekonk Town Meeting this week approved $100,000 for feasibility studies for two projects. At Monday's meeting, voters gave the green light to $50,000 for a study for construction of a South End fire station and $50,000 for a study for Phase II of the senior center.
The Town Meeting also moved to appropriate $236,000 for the purchase and equipping of a loader for the Department of Public Works and $67,000 for the purchase and equipping of a dump truck and plow to be utilized by the School Department.
