After losing pool-play outings to the North Elizabeth Heat (11-4), Elmore, N.J. Troopers (7-5, despite a home run by Tetreault) and New Jersey Generals (10-0), the SIBL club regrouped in the semifinal round to blitz Elmora, 13-2, as Blaser, Puryear and Tetreault all collected two hits. Tetreault, Puryear and DiPietro handled the mound duties for the winners.

In the title contest, Swansea posted a 15-13 triumph over North Elizabeth thanks to two-hit efforts from Tetreault and Puryear and effective pitching from Puryear, Tetreault and DiPietro.
