The Brits LOVE their puddings. And particularly their Sticky Toffee Pudding. But many of us here in the US have never even heard of the stuff. Plus, what they call puddings across the pond are not necessarily what we think of as puddings over here... Fortunately, we have British Ex-pat June Lawton, of June Loves English Cakes, to fill us in on all of the secrets, details & joys of this beloved British dessert!
We googled it, and as far as we could tell no such official holiday yet exists, so we are hereby declaring next Saturday, Feb 28th, to be Sticky Toffee Pudding Day! Join June at her market table all morning long to learn all about this mysterious and delicious sweet treat, and of course--most importantly--to sample it for yourself!
